The reason I ask here is because I noticed that my new tab page was ALWAYS able to by customized, and worked since the very first release on Microsoft Chromium Edge with AdGuard 7.3. Even going into Edge settings, New tab page, then customize just opens the same non customization New Tab page. I have no options within that new tab page to customize my "New Tab" page layout like I once had before. Now opening a new tab just loads a Microsoft Edge logo floating over a blue reflective pond. It had been working perfectly up until 3 or 4 days ago. I've noticed lately when using Microsoft Edge Chromium that it will no longer load my "New Tab" page layout anymore. Thus, for example, you can enable search ads (which sometimes can be useful), allow protection against spyware and other trackers, remove overload of social buttons (Like, Share and such).”Īre you still using Microsoft Edge? Share your thoughts below.I wanted to ask a question for the AdGuard team who maintain the default set of AdGuard blocking lists for AdGuard Desktop 7.3. Activate filters to select what shall be blocked. “By clicking on “Adguard settings”, you can regulate filtering the way you want. In a post on the company blog, Arguard wrote: “With Adguard for Edge, you can disable ad filtering for any specific website, block any element on the page, and do other useful stuff (that our users already know of). Users will also be able to filter what is blocked to ensure useful information like search ads make it through. Those installing the free tool will be able to disable ad filtering for specific websites, whom you may wish to support. It’s now available to download from the Windows Store. Rival software Adblock wasted no time in releasing its tool as an extension, but it’s taken a few months for the Adguard team to get its ducks in a row. The ability to add extensions to Edge was finally unleashed with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update last summer. The popular ad-blocking software Adguard is now available as an extension for Windows 10’s Edge browsers.
